Breeders of exotic breeds of Large white YORKSHIRE, DUROC, & HAMSHIRE.
Establishment of our farms is since 1999 in Pune, Maharashtra.
From many decades pig farming are practiced in India in open range or in back yards by desi pigs which are black & short in size.
Now we are practicing pig rearing with better quality exotic / cross bred pigs such as large white Yorkshire, Duroc & Hamshire in hi-tech procedure i.e. in compact sheds.
Feeding them in proper manner & providing proper medication with proteins & vitamins to get greater output of meat for the meat industries.
This exotic / crossbred varieties are recommended as they provide more economic benefits & returns than to desi pigs.
We are introducing a practice of artificial insemination of our sows with other breeds of boar (male) i.e. cross breeding to get a healthy breed to gain more meat & less fat in carcass.
For this we train the farmers to practice a successful farming in India with the help of Krantisinh Nanapatil College of Vet Science, Dist Satara, State Maharashtra. Under supervision of Dr. Hemant S. Birade,(Associate Dean).
We also produce the farmers a good quality breeds of Yorkshire, Duroc & Hamshire for breeding & encourage new farmers to get trained & be a successful farmer of exotic pig breeder in India.
Pig are housed in sheds having adjoining open wire fenced pens. Clean & sanitary conditions should be provided. Watering bins should be provided.
